Ethan had gone on a business trip to Spain. Just as Emilia had some free time, she took Sebastian to Venice—the place he’d been begging to visit—planning to stay a few days before heading back.
This was Sebastian’s first time traveling anywhere far, so everything felt fresh and exciting to him. From dawn to dusk, he ran around without a hint of tiredness.
Emilia finally had to stop him. “Sebastian, we have to go. It’s already late.”
“But…” His voice trailed off the moment he caught that iconic mom-glare. He pouted and turned around to walk toward her but accidentally bumped into someone as he moved.
He stumbled sideways and fell against someone’s leg.
“Sebastian, are you okay?” Emilia was panicked, rushing over and scooping him up into a tight hug.
