The day before.....in the Moon Shine Pack.
I can't believe my sister Beta Tamar and I were ordered to attend this fancy-pack dinner in honor of the Alpha King's visit. Alpha River is going all out. We are using the newly built event hall. The worst part is, I am stuck sitting next to the Alpha King, and they had the nerve to sit my sister, Tamar, all the way at the far end of the table with Elder Corbin Lane.
"Miriam, I had you seated next to me for a reason. I have been wanting to spend some much-needed alone time with you. I have some questions about the rogue attacks lately and your fighting skills." claimed Alpha King Rowan Pope, smilingly at me as I took a sip of my red California sweet wine.
