Miriam ends up in the flower bed listening by his open office window, to Alpha Kevin and Elise Lane professing their love for one another.
A heartbroken Miriam calls him, and she watches him from the window send her to voicemail. Miriam tries again to call him. Once again, Alpha Kevin Richards declines her call. Resulting in Miriam and her wolf, Cleopatra, taking a moment to look up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity in order to calm down.
