Sunlight seeped through the curtains, falling onto Freya's face, as she slightly stirred in her sleep. For a change, she was willing to go back to sleep, refusing to wake up. It was the first time since the incident that she had slept and had had no nightmares bothering her. She didn't exactly remember what had happened, but she wanted to enjoy that peaceful rest.
Sparks shot through her skin as a hand came into contact with her cheek, gently caressing it, moving her hair away from her face in the process. Frowning, Freya opened her eyes, to find herself staring at Zavian, her head placed on his chest, his arm around her.
"Hey," he whispered, smiling at her. She instantly sat up, and got out of bed, stepping away from it.
