Freya had silently observed the difference between Zavian and Damien. Although each of them had called her their 'mate', their behaviour towards her were extremely different; completely North and South. While Damien had been nothing but cruel and brutal towards her, Zavian had made her feel secure. While Damien had been rough and aggressive, Zavian had been nothing but gentle and kind.
