I heaved a sigh of relief as soon as I heard the door shut behind him and his footsteps descend the stairs.
As much as I was furious that Alpha Sylvester had lied to me and was using me, I still could not stop thinking about what he had said about my parents or someone killing his parents. Was he using that as justification for his evil deeds? My parents if they were the people he was referring to could not have killed anyone without cause and definitely not a fellow Alpha and his Luna. My father was a kind man and not a murderer.
