“Ahh.. Here we go again,” I muttered begrudgingly under my breath, dropping my training bag. It was time for training again, a duration I was usually excited for. Not only was it a fun routine, it also helped take my mind off the many things going on with Damien and odd deaths. But as I entered the hall, something was wrong before practice even started. I felt it the moment I stepped onto the mat. It wasn’t exactly obvious. It was subtle, like a count coming half a beat late. Like muscle memory failing you for no reason.
