My phone dinged and let me know I had a new text message. I quickly opened my phone thinking that it might be Rebecca texting since she had been sick all weekend and still didn’t feel any better today. Only to be annoyed when I opened the message and a bit disappointed at the name on the screen.
Carson: Hey man, what’s up? How is the coaching gig treating you?
I narrowed my eyes at the screen. I hadn’t had a chane to speak with Carson since the day I ran into Rebecca the first day I was in town.
