Even though I had agreed to go along with this outrageous idea, I was still firmly against Rebecca taking any kind of chance that might end up in her getting hurt in some way. Despite my suspicions of Derrick having something to do with the attacks, we didn’t have any proof to link him directly to everything that has happened to her recently. Even if he wasn’t Rebecca's stalker and it turned out to actually be someone else, we still had no idea of just what this person might be capable of either. But deep down all of us knew the everything was pointing to Derrick.
