The entire courtroom was so silent all except for the judge as he read his judgment. We had just returned from lunch and the second half was supposed to show all the evidence that had been collected that proved that Derrick was dangerous and deserved to be put away for life, but something had gone wrong. I sat there stunned, my entire body began to tremble, and Adrian wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pulling me in close to him for support.
