29 Jeremy had slept on the couch of Miranda’s second-floor library again. He’d half-hoped that Miranda would join him once more; half-feared that Taz would. Neither had. All he wanted today was to lose himself in the crash investigation. There really was no need to pursue the CH-47D’s demise further, but Miranda had said it would be a good opportunity for them all to brush up their rotorcraft skills.
