I bit down on my knuckle, watching as Lumi cracked an egg before half the shell went into the bowl. The look on her face f*****g adorable as she just stood there, wondering what to do next.
I don't know how I got myself into this mess. I mean, it's not like she held a gun to my head... if she did, it would probably help my case when Sterling finally wakes up.
Which could be any damn minute.
"Do you want me to-"
"No, I can do this." She declared, reaching into the bowl before scooping out the shell and holding it awkwardly.

Before I could finish she turned and placed the shells in my extended hand. Yeah, that's not what I meant. I was trying to grab a napkin.
