"Help!" "Somebody, please help me!" But there was no one. I couldn’t even see Ron anymore. My heart pounded in my chest, fear and panic clawing at me as the rogues dragged me deeper into the forest. The moon hung high above, casting a silver glow over the clearing, but it offered no comfort. I could hear their laughter, the sickening sound of triumph and cruelty. And Lia! Was she dead? No! No! No! This can’t be happening! I thrashed, trying to break free, but their hands were rough and unyielding. My wrists were bound tight, and the pain shot up my arms with every movement.
