Even though I was furious at Blake and David, I was also proud of Aitana for standing up for herself and putting them in their place. When she said we were here to discuss their future, I already knew what she had in mind.
She was ready to banish them.
The rightness of it settled over me. Death would be a mercy they didn't deserve. It would be quick and end their pathetic existence, but it would also allow them to escape the consequences of their actions. Exile… exile was a living death. Considering they are not special wolves, they won't last a week outside the pack.
