In the end, I was too much of a coward to tell them anything about the papers Diane found, and since their plan of me finding something helpful in my parents' house went down the drain, there wasn't much to discuss later. Tristan and Sebastian emphasized the importance of not being alone and asked me to stay with one or the other at all times.
They act as if they are both my mates, I thought to myself, but I didn't say anything out loud.
The absurdity of it almost made me laugh. Almost.
Me? Two mates? Yeah, there is no way that would happen. If I were an Alpha daughter, then it would make sense, but I'm just an omega.
