Aitana's POV Burning my skin again hurt, and that rod didn't help. It was the worst pain I had ever felt; my vision was still blurry because of it, and I could even smell my own scorched flesh. The silver rod clattered to the stone floor as my fingers spasmed from the pain. "This better be effective," I grunted as I put some ointment that man gave me before he disappeared.
