"Alpha?" The warrior called through the mind-link. He must be startled to see me here. I have asked Cam to call for reinforcements, but they must have been worried since they didn't find me at the pack.
He was about to open his mouth, oblivious to the woman sleeping on my back.
"Keep it down," I ordered, and tilted my head to the side so he could see Aitana. "Ask the maids to prepare a room for her."
