I’ve been hugged by everyone it seems like.
Mom is still crying quietly in her chair. Granny had been relieved but she was incredibly calm about the whole situation.
Raleigh had linked everyone earlier but insisted I eat lunch in bed to make sure I wasn’t overwhelmed. Zora told me she was going to rest until it was time to gather the whole group to explain what had happened.
Now we sit in their big conference room. Raleigh has me in his lap which I’m thankful for. I can’t seem to handle being apart from him right now. When I took a shower after eating, I had rushed through it with a strange desperation to be back with him. I’m sure Zora knows why but she’s been sleeping.
