The pack is beginning to trickle in to the ceremony area. They’ve all been very gracious and accepting of Tessi. Not that I ever had any doubts there. Our pack is one big family.
For our other guests, we only invited close allies and friends. Partly because of Tessi’s gift and because adding a Luna is a family affair. Not a spectator sport or a competition for bragging rights. Security was very tight though regardless of the invite list. We required the college students to return home for the weekend.
I stand down at the steps greeting anyone who wishes to come by. There are only a few. Most prefer to wait until Tessi is with me at the party afterwards.
