Tessi snarls so loudly my ears cringe. She is enraged. Aldric moves slowly standing over Mom and lifting her. His voice is shallow as he almost struggles to raise her. "Tessi don't take your eyes off her." He cautions backing away.
We felt her bond break. Dad is on his feet again his arms out ready to take her. Aldric gently places her there. An unspoken question in Dad's eyes as he takes a deep breath, while Aldric nods weakly. Too late to help, I see the exhaustion in his face and the way he moves. Lilah runs over to him as he begins to collapse. She can't stop him but Talbock's reflexes were fast enough he got to him supporting his weight from behind. "Gotcha. You need to rest son." Aldric nods slowly. Questions for him will need to wait a minute.
