“Alma, are you sure? Tessi hasn’t even shifted. I’ve never heard of the Dawn Wolf.”
“Not many have. I am sure of it in my mind and heart but until she shifts, we will not know with absolute certainty. However, that might be why she hasn’t shifted. She needed her mate to protect her. Because once she does shift, it will awaken those that want to chase her.”
Now my blood runs cold. “Chase her?”
“Yes Stella. Nothing rare comes without being hunted. In Zora’s case, it makes no difference. She can do nothing for anyone she doesn’t wish to. The Dawn Wolf is not a power that can be stolen or compelled either. Their ignorance however will lead them to come for her. As a figurehead believing she will show other packs they should bow down because a Goddess given gift is within their pack.
