Jazmine watched as the two supernaturals took her baby away from the room. She saw the raw hunger on their faces and could only imagine what they were going to do to her baby.
“She will be fine, my love,” Javier whispered into her hair. “Just like I could never hurt you, that is what Xander and Dustin will not do.”
Jazmine looked up at her mate, trying to see if he was lying to her. The steady grey eyes gave her a little peace. “It’s a little hard to get used to.”
Javier leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her lips, “I know baby.” He turned to the High Priestess who was still by the door, a knowing smile on her face. “I have news.”
“Can we move to a more comfortable place?” Queen Nova stated. “Though the room is big enough, it lacks sitting areas, and I for one want to sit down.”
