Tazanna threw the covers away from her body but did not get up from bed. Even though she was still in their house, she had to sleep in the guest bedroom because of how her room had been trashed. She had gone through everything, looking to see if anything had been taken. It seemed to be an attack solely to destroy her room, not to rob her. All her valuables were exactly where they should have been, though destroyed.
Sighing, she sat up, pulling her knees up. She let the covers pull around her, running her hands through her morning hair. Replaying all that happened the night before, she felt as if her life had been turned upside down.
