They reach the packhouse the following day, and Tom stumbles out of Daisy. Never again will he ask to drive with the witch. Tom is so glad it was not a broomstick. He is sure they would have crushed a broomstick. Luckily he was passed out most of the way after drinking a bottle of vodka by himself. He has a headache, and Dora laughs at the old human man. She mumbles something, and Tom feels his headache disappear.
"Thank you," He says to Dora, and she smiles. He asked her a lot of question about witches. He wanted to know the differences between white and dark witches. Dora had to explain everything to him. He now knows that dark witches get their power from taking it from other living creatures or corpses and nature but does not care if they destroy anyone or nature by taking their life
