Ian was furious. He couldn’t believe that he let her leave again. “f**k that,” The blind rage conquered his bones as he kicked the cabinet door in on itself, the wood splintering like his chest. “f**k this,” Blindly he took the dishes lying nearby and hauled them at the opposite wall, watching them shatter. Until the fuel in his stomach consumed him, he kicked the shards, stepped on them, praying that they stab him to just allow some distraction from the emotional hurricane in his chest, wrecking his brain.
