Ten minutes later, the men finally returned. They told Donald furiously, "They ran away! We didn't manage to get them!"
"Useless fools!" Donald roared, panting with rage. With those two gone, it was highly unlikely that he could recoup any money for this.
"Don't worry, bro. I know you tried to help me beat them up, so I will still pay you. But since you didn't succeed, I won't be paying as much," Simon said, noticing what Donald was thinking. "Let's do it this way. I know it's not easy for you and your men, so I will triple the payment as agreed. Does that work for you?"
This came as a pleasant surprise to Donald. How could there be such a kind person in this world? How could he triple the payment even though they did not do anything at all?
Moved, he said, "Bro, I like how righteous you are. Let's be friends. You don't have to pay me that much either; the original payment of $4,000 is plenty enough. We can continue working for you too. Either way, we won't ever do anything bad to you in the future!"
"Don't worry about it," Simon said, "It's tough for you and your men too. Take out your phone. I will transfer $12,000 to you."
Donald became excited, elated that he had run into a truly rich and generous young man. This man was much wealthier than Todd Burton and his peers.
"Thank you!" he said, repeatedly thanking Simon, as he took out his phone. Simon transferred the payment to him on the spot. Donald could hardly believe it. He had earned $12,000 without doing much at all!
"Rest assured, bro. We're your men from now. We'll be there as soon as you call us. Save my number while you're at it," he said excitedly.
They exchanged numbers. Donald thanked him again before leaving with his men.
The next day, Simon went to campus.
He attended a class meeting and learned about the upcoming sports meet.
The idea of a sports meet did not interest him but unfortunately, his new riches made him the most popular figure in the class. His classmates knew how powerful he was now, so all of them pushed for him to participate in the 100-meter dash.
He had no choice but to agree.
That night, he curled up on the sofa watching TV while Katya showered.
Hearing the sound of splashing water from the bathroom, his imagination once again went into overdrive.
Katya's seductive figure kept appearing in his mind.
What would the n***d body of a foreign woman look like?
He sighed and cut off his thoughts for fear of getting a reaction down there.
The sports meet started the next day.
Simon went to the field and found it packed with fired-up people.
The first thing he did was to take part in the qualifying match for the 100-meter dash. Fortunately, he barely made it in as the bottom-ranking participant.
This was quite impressive already. He was, after all, not an athlete.
While sitting on the field for a quick breather, Simon found several ladies from his class, including Dixie, fawning over him. They showered him with towels and bottles of water to express their admiration for him. He found himself surrounded by adoring women.
These women had never been very nice to him when he was still poor. Their eagerness now just betrayed their ulterior motives. Therefore, he was not interested in them.
He wiped his face and drank some water before promptly leaving these women behind. He started strolling around the field by himself.
Soon, he came up to the site for the high jump competition.
His eyes were immediately drawn to a particular woman.
The young woman was tall and slender with all the right curves. She was drop-dead gorgeous and seductive!
It just so happened that she was up next for the competition. Her large breasts wobbled as she ran and he could not take his eyes off her.
Her face was also incredibly pretty. She was a stunner for sure.
He watched as she leaped over the pole gracefully and got the highest score!
She was the winner!
Simon was completely won over by her. Not only was she pretty, but she was also athletic. What an attractive woman!
Only a woman like her was worthy of his love.
Then, he heard the announcement that the 100-meter dash was about to begin. He cast the woman one last longing look before returning to his competition site.
It was at this moment that Simon realized that his fellow participants were all tall, long-legged, sporty men. It was obvious that they were all athletes!
Simon was close to breaking down. How could he hope to win against them?
Even so, the ladies in his class continued to cheer him on and look at him admiringly.
Perhaps, in their eyes, men were most attractive when they were rich.
Simon also noticed that the pretty woman from the high jump competition had also come over to watch the 100-meter dash. With her were a few women who were also tall, beautiful, and athletic. Of course, they could not compare with her.
Their conversation also entered his ears as they chatted away without showing any concern for his feelings.
"Hey, look at him. He's a lot shorter than the rest of them! How can he win?"
"Yeah! I bet he will end up last. He should have known better than to join the 100-meter dash."
"Why are you so quiet, Sonia? Do you think he will win?" one of them asked the woman that Simon had his eye on.
Simon realized that the stunner was called Sonia.
He was more concerned about what she thought. He noticed that she shook her head and said, "I don't think he will win."
He knew that he could not blame them; after all, he was not only shorter than the men on athletic scholarships but also thinner. From the looks of it, he truly had no hope of defeating them.
In the end, he chose to walk up to the group of women and said, "Are you talking about me?"
"Yeah, we're talking about you. What's wrong? If you're upset, get the first place to shut us up," one of them said.
Simon sneered and said, "Sorry to break it to you, but the first place is mine." He then stepped aside to start his warm-up exercises.
The women covered their mouths and laughed. Even Sonia was laughing.
"You don't believe me? What if I get first place? What will you do for me?" Simon asked, not minding their mockery at all.
"We will do anything you ask for!" one of them replied.
"Deal! If I get first place, I want you to kiss me," Simon said, pointing to Sonia.
Sonia blushed and lowered her head. "Why me?"
"Don't worry, Sonia! He will never get first place!" one of her friends said. She looked at Simon and said, "Hey, what if you can't get first place?"
"Then I'll give you $2,000 each," Simon said calmly.
"Deal! We all heard you loud and clear!" the woman said excitedly.
"Sure. I don't have a habit of going back on my word," Simon said, "Sonia, do you agree to my condition?"
Sonia shook her head shyly.
Her friends immediately tried to persuade her. "Come on, Sonny. Don't be scared! The other contestants are athletes! You know that! We haven't even heard of this guy before. I've seen him in the qualifying match. He was dead last! I'm 100% sure that he won't be able to win!"
