"Who's at the door?" I heard a woman ask, I tried to see whom it was but she wasn't in my view.
"Princess Alina your highness . . ."
There was a great pause before I heard multiple footsteps coming our way.
A few seconds later a man and a woman stood before me, they both seemed to be middle aged and were wearing crowns on their heads.
The King and Queen.
I didn't need the crown to tell me that, just by the way they spoke and dressed was enough to let me know who exactly these people were. There were tears in the queen's eyes, she looked as though she didn't believe that I was standing right here in front of her. Her actions surprised me, it didn't look like she was faking anything . . . instead, it seemed completely genuine.
