We were in a room surrounded by cameras, everyone's eyes glued on the mate hunt. To my relief, Seth was nowhere around. Apparently he'd decided that it wasn't that important for him to attend as long as a human was sacrificed. He disgusted me and I couldn't wait to punish him for all that he's done. I returned my attention to the cameras as something caught my eyes.
I recognized Caelan's wolf immediately. This was the perfect timing to distract Lukas. I walked over to him and poked his back a bit rougher than I needed too.
"We need to talk."
He raised a brow. "Now?" He asked in disbelief. "Alina, we're in the middle of the mate hunt."
I crossed my arms. "It's important Lukas."
He narrowed his eyes. "What could be more important than this right now?"
"It's about Serena." I snapped.
