After a few days,
Kohina’s voice broke through. “Where is Vanya? If the husband is out of sight, out of mind?” Vanya rubbed her eyes and asked about Jaggu.
“He’s not here,” came the reply. She tried calling Jaggu, but no answer. Jaggu was missing, nowhere to be found.
They headed to court. Still no sign of Jaggu.
Sumair showed up. Vanya found Jaggu nearby. He was busy arranging cash and warned her to keep Sumair in check.
Sharma stepped in, calm and collected. “This is a simple case,” he said. “But Sumair’s taking it personally.”
