Part 1 The clock hummed quietly against the white silence of the living room. The warm glow of a single wall sconce played shadows on the edge of the doorway where Vanya Kapoor stood, her arms crossed, watching Rivaan adjust his cufflinks. He looked sinfully perfect black blazer, crisp shirt, and that calm arrogance that only he could wear like cologne.
