Part 2 Raghav turned with a smile that curdled blood. His voice, amused and sharp, sliced the still air. “Say something. Don’t be a silent film, darling.” But Aanya she couldn’t speak. Her voice had been stolen by memories too monstrous to name. Her legs weakened. Her throat closed. The world dimmed and narrowed into a tunnel. And in the very next second, her body surrendered. She fainted. Raghav froze. For the first time in a long time, he didn’t know what to do. The smirk faded. His eyes scanned her face as he bent beside her, brushing strands of hair away from her forehead. And then he saw her. Recognition hit him like a slap. “Aanya?” he whispered, the name leaving his lips in disbelief. “Aanya ?” He splashed cold water on her face with hurried hands, panic rising in his chest.
