I walked downstairs and saw my Mommy drinking some tea and reading on the couch. "Hi, Mommy!" I said and sat down next to her. I need to tell her about me dating Luca.
"Hey, sweetie, how's your lip doing?" she asked. At first she was angry about me fighting but then I told her what happened, and now she understands it had to be done.
"It hurts a little but I'm fine. I have to tell you something but you have to promise to keep it a secret from Michael," I said.
"I promise."
"I'm dating Luca," I said. "I asked him out yesterday and he said yes!"
Mommy hugged me and said, "Honey, that's great! I'm so happy for you!"
"I knew you wouldn't care!"
