The dreams began three nights after we sealed our bond.
At first, I thought it was just exhaustion. The mating ritual, the announcement, the council decisions everything had been heavy and sacred and overwhelming in its own way. A lot had been happening and I hadn’t taken the time to just rest, I went from feeling imprisoned by Dante to committing myself to something I didn’t even know with Lucas. Then after that I orchestrated Lucas and Steven turning on each other and as if that didn’t drain enough of my energy I was captured and then had to train myself and how to control the magic that I had just learned.
