A lot had happened in the past few days and it was unbelievable how much had change in the pack. Lucas’ wolves were still with us, well the ones that were still alive. I couldn’t just send them on their way after we had won the battle, I told them that it was all their choice and that they didn’t owe me any loyalty. If they wanted to go back to the life they were living they were free to do that. However, all of them chose to stay with me proving that Selene was right about them needing to belong.
What Selene and I had forgotten about was the elders, I had been caught u in my grief and distracted that I didn’t even think to remember that they were probably plotting their next move now that their weapon, Steven had failed at what they wanted him to do to me and my pack.
