SELENE’S POV
The ride home was quiet, It wasn’t tense or uncomfortable but just heavy with unspoken words, there was so much that I didn’t understand about what had just happened. On top of that I was still undecided about how I felt about Dante, I knew I loved him. However I didn’t know if I wanted to stay with him. I didn’t know if going back there would be a good idea for me especially after everything that had happened. However, I knew he needed me especially now that Rex was no more. He had lost a lot of his wolves and was now surrounded but some of Lucas’ wolves. Having someone that he could trust and someone he knew wasn’t after anything from him would do him some good.
The council chamber still lingered in my mind the dismantling, the vote, the way every Alpha had looked at Dant
