SELENE’S POV The walk back to the pack house felt unreal like I was moving through fog, through the remnants of a dream I couldn’t wake from. The rain had soaked through my clothes until my bones ached, and every step squelched with cold water and dead leaves. But none of that compared to the hollow pain twisting in my chest after Dante’s accusations. I did feel bad that an intruder had came into the pack grounds in search of me but I couldn’t take responsibility for the fact that he ad made it through the heavily guarded boarders. I, myself didn’t even know how he had made it that far. I didn’t even know why I ended up here with him tonight and yet Dante hadn't even given me the chance to explain myself. Proving once again that he didn’t care about me or anything that I had to say to him
