I was initially skeptical when Colton suggested letting Cyrilla help with business-related matters. He argued that it would be a good way to keep her occupied and allow us to keep an eye on her better if she stayed in the office rather than wandering around. He also pointed out that it would be a waste of her skills and talent if she were idle most of the time.
After his relentless persistence, I finally relented. Besides, the thought of spending more time in the same room as her was unexpectedly exhilarating. Keeping her distracted could temporarily divert her from her desire to escape and return home. Because the truth is, I'm running out of reasons that would convince her to stay here.
