CYRILLA'S POV
The four of them were already out of the car, waiting for us when we arrived. I was still a little annoyed that they’d left me behind, but they didn’t seem the least bit concerned. Instead, they all gave me that same strange smile. I responded with a scowl of my own.
It was Theon who greeted me first. “Whoa, Cyrilla! What happened? You look traumatized.”
I shot him a sharp glare. “What’s with you? You’ve been extra annoying lately.”
If his goal was to get under my skin, he was doing a great job.
“Oh, come on! I haven’t seen any of you in days. Didn’t you miss me?” he asked with a childish pout.
To be fair, he had been away, juggling missions and visiting Laura in between.
“Will you leave the girl alone, babe? It’s her first time exploring town. Don’t ruin it for her,”
