I couldn’t for the life of me understand why Aurora had chosen this loser over me. If he had been better looking than me I would have understood, he sure looked like he had money but even that money wasn’t enough to polish him up. I looked at him from head to toe as Nicolas walked into my office with him and as soon as he saw Reva he looked straight into her eyes and then dropped his head in what looked like shame. He couldn’t even be man enough to look at me or her. I almost felt sorry for him but I wanted to know why my mate had killed herself while she was supposed to be in his care.
