The days moved quickly and before I knew it, it was time for the championship finals. It was just two days before Kendall had to start her therapy session, and I was happy that it worked out like this, because I wanted to be there for her as much as I could.
BU was playing against Lakewood State University. It was the first time we were playing together so I didn’t know their strengths or their weaknesses.
The crowd was the same as the semifinals, loud and excited. This was a big chance for us. The kind of game you dream about as a kid, when you’re still learning how to lace up your skates.
