(Kendall) When we got back home, everyone was tired. It had been a long day, but a good one. Mom went straight to the kitchen and said something about needing tea. Dad muttered that he was going to lie down. Zoe dragged her stuff to her room without saying much, but I saw her smile a little before she turned away. Jaxon helped me carry in a few bags.
