I was still in the room with Glenda when, all of a sudden, shouting reached my ears. It sounded like Sl@sh barking orders at the guards.
Whatever she was saying sounded serious because even Glenda tensed.
We moved to the curtain and shoved it open to see what was happening. Sl@sh was jogging toward a dozen guards who were waiting for orders.
"We need to move. NOW!" s***h shouted, a hint of panic in her usually confident voice.
"Use the back entrance and take the omegas to the cave to the east. I'll hold them off at the front for as long as I can to give you guys a head start," she added as she holstered a knife on her hip before slinging a rifle over her shoulder.
The guards acknowledged her command before running off to complete their tasks, leaving the three of us alone
