Aurelia
The rest of the drive south was tense. We didn't stop except for short pee breaks and to stretch our legs for a few minutes. The guys took turns driving so they could each sleep for a few hours. I offered to drive, but they didn't let me. Jaxson said that if we encountered a problem, it would be better if one of them were behind the wheel. I hadn't thought about that. I wasn't a bad driver but had never driven under stressful circumstances. I would probably end up crashing into a tree, so he was probably right not to let me.
The security team searched for the source of the light but didn't find anyone. They did, however, locate quad tracks. They followed the tracks but lost them when they crossed a creek a few miles away.
It was unclear if whoever was on the quad was following
