I’d began to settle into the routine of staying with Mr. Hayes, and I couldn’t help but feel like that was a problem, I didn’t want to get too comfortable around the man. At this point, however, I didn’t have much of a choice.
Jasmine had kept me up all night, so needless to say, I was quite exhausted that morning. Still, I had to get up, and go to work.
I looked down at my slumbering baby girl. “Now, you want to sleep.” I murmured under my breath with a small smile. It was difficult not to find one when looking at my little miracle. I gently tapped her forehead with my lips, got up, said my prayers for the morning, and quickly got ready.
It didn’t take much to get Jasmine ready. I’d cleaned her up, and bundled her up really good as it was nearing winter, then I left
