Not to boast, but it smelled quite delicious in the condo today. I had never been so refreshed and felt so safe as I had today.
When Jafaar Hayes gave me the day off, I…admittedly, collapsed with Jasmine on the bed, and slept so good for hours.
She must have sensed my ease as well because she barely made a peep during the day. I had never seen Jasmine so happy and giggly.
We weren’t in the best place, but at least, for the time being, we felt safe, and it was all thanks to Jafaar Hayes.
