Dear Sir,
I beg to call your attention to the following fact, which is calculated to be of interest to those studying astronomy. On the morning of the 16th of the present month of March, I discovered a bolide which was passing with considerable velocity through the northern zone of the sky. Its trajectory, somewhere north-south, formed with the meridian an angle of 3° 31’, which I was able to measure accurately. When it appeared in the object-glass of my telescope, the hour was exactly thirty-seven minutes, twenty seconds past seven, and, when it disappeared, thirty-seven minutes, twenty-nine seconds past seven.
