Marcus’ pov
Being king hasn’t been as hard as I thought it would be. Mum and dad did such a great job that it was already running very smoothly, so we just had to keep things going. There was nothing that needed upgrading, and nothing was lacking in the kingdom.
I was glad my parents were such amazing leaders as they had given a great example of how a ruler should act, I just hope that I made them proud of me. Another bonus of them being so amazing was it gave me more time to spend with Ginny and Elaina.
I felt like we had managed to find a good balance between work and home now, Elaina certainly wasn’t suffering when we took over. In fact, I think she liked it when we worked as she got to spend time getting spoiled by our family.
