Cassandra could not sleep a wink during the night, and just when her eyes were about to shut, baby Kristine was up and ready to kick-start her day.
“Even if you are not ready for the day, it cannot always be night,” She quoted in a low tone.
She picked up Kristine out of her crib and changed her diaper on her bed while Kristine was being playful.
“Mommy needs coffee and a couple of energy drinks for the day. Come, let’s go make coffee for me, my sweetie pie,”
She carries her to the kitchen and puts her on the countertop.
“Please don’t move around and don’t touch anything, understand?”
Kristine blankly looked at her mother and waited until she turned around before she giggled. Her giggles warmed her mother’s heart.
