Nora thought about that very thing, and she was certain that if she did that, go rogue without rejecting him, he would actively sleep with Gloria and really cause her pain. He could do that as often as he wanted if she wasn’t inside the pack, because none would hear her cries of pain. To reject him, she had to be standing before him, which meant going back to the pack.
She wondered how he’d feel about her stating it first. Would he lash out at her and tell her she couldn’t reject him because he was the Alpha, and she was just a lowly ranked warrior, that she had no rights to do so? She knew it would be seen as disrespectful towards him, and that really ticked him off where she was concerned.
