Nora walked down the stairs and came across Gloria on the fourth-floor landing. The woman was just standing there, obviously waiting on her. Her eyes moved over Nora’s attire, and she rolled her eyes and stated, “You can’t even dress appropriately, so why are you going to greet my allied packs, Alphas?” she bit out.
“I don’t know, Gloria. Perhaps you should in fact take that up with the Alpha. I told him it was your job. That you are the Luna, and he was annoyed about me, stating that fact, when normally he would defend you and your title,” it was odd. But now here Gloria was ticked off about it as well, and she wondered if, somewhere over the past few weeks, Jace had realized what she was actually supposed to be to him?
Hmm, if so, could she exploit that to pay him back and get revenge
